Its never too early to start reading to your baby. While they most likely don't understand much at first, I noticed that Mia tends to prefer some books over others. Here's a list of the books she enjoyed the most during her first year!
This is the biggest hit at our house. I don't know if its the illustrations, the repetition, or something else, but Mia can't get enough of this book!

This was one of my favorites as a child, I'm so happy Mia likes it too!
Mia is OBSESSED with this interactive book! It has a little corn-shaped cursor attached that you use to connect to button-like thingies on each page to activate sounds!
